Travel + Inspiration

Cliffs of Moher Co. Clare, Ireland

Learning as much as I could by ordering supplies and watching videos, I was craving instruction and a tribe.  I reached out to Enkaustikos (a Rochester, NY based company where I get a lot of my supplies). Kathryn Bevier works for them and is an amazing artist, color expert and teacher. She told me about classes in New York, as well as an “Art and Soul Journey” at the Burren College of Art in Ireland. Kathryn would be a part of this trip, along with Lora Murphy, another amazing artist, healer and instructor.

I was grateful to be able to join. This trip was a tipping point in my life. I made life long friends & learned so much from amazing mentors.  I was able to submerge myself into something that was calling me. I had great food, stayed in a thatched cottage with roommates that I still love to this day. I jumped into the Atlantic to be literally submerged in the surroundings and walked to my studies through a path that felt like a hobbit movie, with the hazelnut trees, trails and cows.

This “Art and Soul Journey” ignited a light within me. This trip has inspired me to stay on this course of taking care of myself with amazing mentors & travels, following what interests me and the joy of this tribe.
