“Bloom” in the entryway of Premier Aesthetics

I worked in the Operating Room for the bulk of my medical career. I was an open heart charge nurse, a coordinator that organized the day and a manager. When you work closely and intensely together in any occupation you form a bond. I am grateful for the O.R. bonds made over my 20 plus years in the medical field. Recently, I’ve been looking for ways to be in my art career and still buy art supplies. I was thinking about partial nursing and partial “art-ing.” I brought my resume to the office manager of this team and shared my journey thus far. This connection led to this opportunity.

The team at Premier Aesthetics looked beyond my past as an O.R. bossy pants and loved me in this new journey of large florals and landscapes and healing. It’s been so rewarding to hear an old colleague say…. ”You did that!! I had no idea, have you always been painting."

I am so grateful to have art in this beautiful space along side my friend Dr. Tom Robinson. We are emerging artists and any opportunity to show our work gets us giddy.

It’s been a privilege to have worked with this team in my medical days, to visit them as a patient & I would highly recommend them. I am beyond grateful to show work in this new amazing medical spa. Self care is an act of love to you. We all need to be gentle to ourselves especially in this time of uncertainty.
