I don’t believe in coincidence, I believe that the universe places the right people and places in your life as you need them.  When I needed a place to live and paint when I was in Bozeman, I met the perfect person and place. My landlord was a very kind and creative person who was encouraging and excited that I was painting in his garage.  Feeling supported and encouraged as an emerging artist is a gift.  Come to find out my landlord was also opening two new breweries.  I painted “Sacrifice Cliff” for my show at the Ryniker-Morrison Gallery.  This piece ended up being perfect for the colors and vibe at the new FreeFall Brewery in Billings.  Steve even had a beer named Sacrifice Cliff. I am so grateful that he purchased this piece and it gets to be in a public place.

Allison (with Font & Figure, who helps with this website is also a very talented photographer) and I went to Freefall Brewery to get a few pictures.  The alfredo sauce with breadsticks is homemade and awesome, our salads were fresh and our “prop” beers ended up in our bellies. Leaving that afternoon I felt such joy seeing something I worked on being displayed, the wonderful people in my life and the universe always taking good care of me – maybe it is safe to “freefall."
